Part of the American Children's Society's mission is to help ease the family's financial burden during cancer treatments. The last thing they need to think about is if they have the financial means to help save their child.
We hope that you won't ever need to know that the average cost of a funeral for a child is about $6,500.00 and that there are not many families that plan for this expense.
We hope that you won't ever need to know that cancer takes the lives of 20 out of every 100 children that are diagnosed with this disease.
